iRank installs as an app on Android and iPhone without going through an app store.
Why install it
Most people use iRank on a phone at a venue. An installed app:
- Opens from your home screen without typing an address
- Keeps working when the venue’s connection does not
- Can receive push notifications, which matters for impromptu motions
Android (Chrome)
Open iRank in Chrome
Go to irankhub.debaterwanda.org .
Tap the menu, then Install app
Chrome may also offer a prompt at the bottom of the screen.

iPhone (Safari)
Open iRank in Safari
Installing does not work from Chrome on iOS — it must be Safari.
Tap the share button, then Add to Home Screen

Allow notifications
When your browser asks, allow notifications. This is how you learn that an impromptu motion has been released or a round is complete.
If you dismiss the prompt, the browser will not ask again. Re-enable it in your browser’s site settings for irankhub.debaterwanda.org.
Before a tournament
Open the tournament while you still have a connection. iRank cannot show you something it has never loaded — see Working Without Internet.
